Please join us for the May Membership Meeting & CE Course!  Are you looking to update your professional headshot?  This is the perfect meeting to attend.  Headshots will be taken by Trish Benoit from 7:30 - 9:00am for $10.00 per person.  Please plan on arriving at 7:30a if you wish to have your photo taken.  Photos will be taken in a separate area at the venue.  Light breakfast will be provided and our wonderful hosts are Karie Anderson and Tina Croteau from Norway Savings Bank!!

The class will be, "How Forestry Practices and Laws Can Potentially Affect You Client taught by Shane Duigan.  Tree Growth Tax Law, the Forest Practices Act, and Liquidation Harvesting can all have significant financial impacts on real estate transactions in Maine. Many real estate agents are unaware of these laws and the possible ramifications for their clients.  This course will provide background information about forestry in Maine, a basic understanding of all three laws, and specific information on how these laws can affect some real estate transactions.

This class has been approved by the Maine Real Estate Commission for 3 clock hours of continuing education.
